Meet the makers
Mike never set out to build furniture. As an endurance athlete, his first barrel project was a race podium—cobbled together for an off-road triathlon event in Kentucky. Then the world shut down. Races were canceled, motivation faded, and free time appeared.
On breaks from his nursing shifts, Mike returned to the barrels. One build became two, word spread, and demand outgrew hobby status. What started in a single-car garage grew into a business that carried him from full-time nursing into full-time craft.
Today, production fills a pole barn on the family property. The shop remains family-owned, hands-on, and rooted in Kentucky tradition. Each piece is more than furniture—it’s a second life for authentic bourbon oak.
The values haven’t changed since that first podium: honest materials, careful craftsmanship, and functional design. Every table, cabinet, and planter carries a piece of Kentucky’s story into the homes of people who believe in lasting quality and heritage worth keeping.
